How to connect ZeroG

ZeroG links your phone to your Antigravity AI agent. From install to your first command takes about a minute — here's the whole thing.

Set up in 5 easy steps

1

Install the ZeroG extension in Antigravity

On your computer, open Antigravity and click the Extensions icon in the far-left toolbar (the four little squares — or press Ctrl+Shift+X, Cmd+Shift+X on Mac). Type ZeroG in the search box, click “ZeroG — Remote for Antigravity”, then click the blue Install button.

Can't find it in search? Install the file instead: download the .vsix, then in the Extensions panel click the ··· (three dots) menu → Install from VSIX… → pick the file from your Downloads folder → Install.

2

Click “Connect my iPhone” when ZeroG greets you

Seconds after the install, a message pops up in the corner: “📡 ZeroG installed! One step left: connect your iPhone.” Click Connect my iPhone — the setup wizard opens.

Missed the popup? Press Ctrl+Shift+P and run ZeroG: Generate Secure Connection — same wizard.

3

Get the iPhone app — scan the first code

The wizard's first screen shows a QR code. Point your iPhone camera at it — it opens ZeroG on the App Store. Tap Get to install the app free. (Already have it? Just click I have the app — next step.)

4

Pair — scan the second code

Click Generate Secure Connection. A new QR appears — this one is your private, encrypted pairing code. On your iPhone open the ZeroG app → SettingsPair new device → point the camera at your computer screen. It locks on in a second.

5

You're connected

Your phone shows LIVE and the desktop confirms the link. Type a message or a terminal command — it runs on your PC and the reply streams back to your phone. That's it: your AI now travels with you.

Keep your computer awake. ZeroG connects to your live Antigravity session, so your computer needs to be on with Antigravity open for your phone to reach the agent. If your PC goes to sleep, the phone will show offline until it wakes — for long sessions, set your computer to not sleep while plugged in.

Turn on phone approvals — one extra step, once

When your agent asks “Allow running this command?”, ZeroG rings your phone with one-tap Approve / Deny buttons. Chat works right after pairing; approvals need this one-time desktop setup.

1

Update the ZeroG extension to 3.4.1 or newer

In Antigravity's Extensions panel, find ZeroG and click Update. From 3.4.1 the extension checks the approvals setup for you.

2

Look at the status bar

At the bottom of the Antigravity window you'll see ZeroG Approvals: ON — that means you're done. If it says OFF, a warning pops up shortly after launch: click Fix it.

Windows: ZeroG puts a new “Antigravity (ZeroG)” shortcut on your Desktop — launch Antigravity from that shortcut from now on (your original shortcuts are untouched). Mac: ZeroG offers to relaunch Antigravity with the right settings — confirm once.

3

Test it

Ask your agent to run any terminal command. Within seconds your phone gets the 🔔 and shows Approve / Deny — tap Approve and watch the command run on your PC.

Approvals not reaching your phone before? That was a silent setup gap in older extension versions — chat worked while approvals quietly didn't. 3.4.1 fixes it loudly: it tells you on the desktop and on your phone when approvals are off, and repairs the setup with one click. Full explainer: approving agent actions remotely.

Good to know

A few controls and tips to get the most out of ZeroG.

Live status at a glance

The LIVE / OFFLINE badge at the top of the app tells you whether your phone can currently reach your PC. Green means you're good to go.

Pair more than one computer

Go to Settings → Pair new device and scan a new computer's code anytime. ZeroG Pro lets you keep multiple computers paired.

Remove ads with Pro

The free version shows an ad every few messages. ZeroG Pro removes ads and unlocks unlimited paired devices — enter your account email under Settings → ZeroG Pro to unlock it on your device.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need Antigravity to use ZeroG?

Yes. ZeroG is the mobile companion for the Antigravity AI IDE — it connects directly to your running Antigravity session. Antigravity is desktop-only, and ZeroG is the way to use it from your phone.

Is my data private?

Your AI model and your code stay on your own machine. ZeroG runs nothing on our servers except the encrypted relay that passes messages between your phone and your PC. Your code is never stored or processed on a third-party AI service.

Chat works but approval requests never reach my phone.

Approvals use a one-time desktop setup that chat doesn't need. Update the ZeroG extension to 3.4.1 or newer, then check the Antigravity status bar: “ZeroG Approvals: ON” means you're set; “OFF” pops a warning with a Fix it button that repairs the setup in one click. On Windows, launch Antigravity from the new “Antigravity (ZeroG)” Desktop shortcut it creates. See the phone approvals section above.

My phone says OFFLINE — how do I fix it?

Check three things: (1) Antigravity is open on your computer with the ZeroG panel running, (2) your computer is on and connected to the internet, and (3) you scanned the most recent QR code. If it's still offline, generate a fresh code in Antigravity and re-scan it from Settings → Pair new device.

The QR code won't scan.

Make sure the whole code is inside the camera frame with good lighting, and that you allowed camera access when ZeroG asked. Try moving a little closer or further from the screen. You can tap "Scan Again" to retry.

Do I have to keep my computer on?

Yes. Your agent runs on your PC, so your computer and Antigravity must be running for your phone to connect. If your PC sleeps or closes Antigravity, the phone will show offline until it's back.

How do I connect a different computer?

Open the ZeroG panel on the new computer, generate its QR code, then on your phone go to Settings → Pair new device and scan it. Pro lets you pair more than one device.

How do I remove the ads?

The free version shows an ad every few messages. Upgrading to Pro removes ads entirely and unlocks unlimited paired devices and priority speed. You can upgrade to Pro inside the app — it uses your Apple ID, and you can cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings.

Which phones are supported?

iOS is available now. Android is coming soon. As long as your computer is on, you can connect from anywhere on Wi-Fi or cellular.
