ZeroG ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the ZeroG mobile app and website.
The short version: ZeroG is designed to keep your data on your own devices. Your AI conversations are processed locally on your PC and are never stored or read by us.

The free version of ZeroG is supported by ads served through Google AdMob. To deliver ads, AdMob may collect a mobile advertising identifier and limited device information.
ZeroG requests non-personalized ads only and does not present the App Tracking Transparency prompt, so your activity is not tracked across other apps or websites for advertising purposes. You can reset or limit your advertising identifier at any time in your device settings.
ZeroG Pro removes all ads. For details on how AdMob handles data, see Google's Privacy & Terms.
Our website (separate from the app) collects anonymous, aggregate analytics so we can understand how people find and use the site. This includes: pages viewed, links and buttons clicked, how far down a page you scroll, time on page, whether a video was played, your referrer and any campaign tag, your device, browser and operating system, language, and your approximate location (city/country, derived from your IP at our edge — we do not store your IP or precise GPS location).
To tell repeat visits apart we store a random, first-party identifier in your browser. It is not linked to your name, email, or any personal identity, it is never shared, and it is not used to track you across other websites. This data is stored in our own Cloudflare database and used only in aggregate. To opt out, you can block analytics with a browser extension or your browser's tracking-prevention setting.
We also use Microsoft Clarity to capture aggregated, anonymized usage through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay (a reconstructed recording of mouse movement, clicks, scrolling and pages visited — text input is masked by default). This helps us understand and improve the site. This tool does not capture your typed personal information. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Separately from the website, the ZeroG app records which steps of setup you reach, so we can see where connecting a phone to a desktop breaks. This is counting, not content: it tells us that a step was reached, never what you did or said.
The complete list of what is recorded: the app was opened; the pairing scanner was opened; a pairing code was unreadable or was rejected as untrusted; pairing details were saved, or failed to save; the phone successfully reached your desktop; an approval request was shown; an approval was answered. Nothing else.
Each record carries only: a random identifier generated on your device when you install the app (not your device ID, not your advertising ID, and not derived from anything about you or your hardware), the step name, a short label such as “approve” or “reject”, the app version, whether you are on iOS or Android, your country (derived at our edge — your IP address is not stored), and the time.
It never sends your messages or prompts, terminal output, file or project names, commands, your relay URL, your workspace ID, any token or password, your name, or your email address. This data is stored in our own Cloudflare database, used only in aggregate to improve setup, and is never sold or shared with data brokers or advertisers.
You can turn this off. Open Settings → Privacy in the app and switch off “Share anonymous usage.” Nothing is sent after that.
ZeroG is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
