1. Overview

ZeroG ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the ZeroG mobile app and website.

The short version: ZeroG is designed to keep your data on your own devices. Your AI conversations are processed locally on your PC and are never stored or read by us.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

ZeroG does not collect, store, or transmit:

• The content of your AI conversations
• Your codebase or project files
• Personal identification information beyond what you provide
• Location data
• Cross-app or cross-site tracking of your activity (the free version uses non-personalized ads only — see section 6)

3. Information We Do Use

To provide the service, ZeroG uses:

• Pairing token: A randomly generated key stored locally on your devices to authenticate your phone-to-PC connection. This is never transmitted to our servers in a readable form.
• Cloud relay: Messages between your phone and PC pass through an encrypted relay server in transit only — they are not logged or stored.
• Crash & error reports: If the app hits an error, anonymous technical data (error type, device model, OS version) is sent to Sentry to help us fix bugs. No conversation content, code, or personal data is included.

If you contact us at [email protected], we will use your email address only to respond to your inquiry and will not share it with third parties.

5. Third-Party Services

ZeroG uses the following third-party services:

• Cloudflare — hosting and relay infrastructure. Privacy Policy
• Sentry — anonymous crash & error reporting. Privacy Policy
• Google AdMob — serves ads in the free version of the app. Privacy Policy

6. Advertising (Free version)

The free version of ZeroG is supported by ads served through Google AdMob. To deliver ads, AdMob may collect a mobile advertising identifier and limited device information.

ZeroG requests non-personalized ads only and does not present the App Tracking Transparency prompt, so your activity is not tracked across other apps or websites for advertising purposes. You can reset or limit your advertising identifier at any time in your device settings.

ZeroG Pro removes all ads. For details on how AdMob handles data, see Google's Privacy & Terms.

7. Website Analytics (zerog-ai.com)

Our website (separate from the app) collects anonymous, aggregate analytics so we can understand how people find and use the site. This includes: pages viewed, links and buttons clicked, how far down a page you scroll, time on page, whether a video was played, your referrer and any campaign tag, your device, browser and operating system, language, and your approximate location (city/country, derived from your IP at our edge — we do not store your IP or precise GPS location).

To tell repeat visits apart we store a random, first-party identifier in your browser. It is not linked to your name, email, or any personal identity, it is never shared, and it is not used to track you across other websites. This data is stored in our own Cloudflare database and used only in aggregate. To opt out, you can block analytics with a browser extension or your browser's tracking-prevention setting.

8. Children's Privacy

ZeroG is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
